As I just heard about Transifex in another class, I chose to watch Christin’s video about Transifex. It is an online platform for project managers, quality managers, translators, and developers. To some extent, Transifex is a little bit like Memsource in the way that it centralizes translation and project management. For the translation part, it contains the core functionalities including TM, glossary, QA etc. In addition, Transifex allows you to create a team and add team members.
Christin also mentions the problem of confidentiality in her video. Probably it is a common risk for any cloud-based tools. Therefore, when using these tools, people need to be aware of the terms they have signed for and always be prudent.
