In the last semester of Translation & Localization Management program at MIIS, we will reach out to a non-profit organization to provide localization services to the organization in groups.
Types of project we can offer include:¹
• Website localization. Dynamic Content Management System (CMS)-based websites that run Drupal, WordPress, Joomla or another CMS. These CMS help you better manage your online information and monitor your data.
• Brochure or book localization (Word, InDesign, eBook, etc.).
• Mobile app localization (iPhone, Android, etc.).
• Desktop software localization (PC, Mac, etc.).
• Video subtitling or dubbing.
• Crowd-sourcing solution (when the client has a lot of words to translate and also a lot of volunteers).
• Translation tool evaluation/implementation.
• Process documentation (printed or video).
• Terminology project (glossary creation for clients).
• Styleguide authoring.
• Training (to show the client how to use a translation or crowd-sourcing tool, or a dynamic website).
Here are the two contributions in which I discussed different aspects of the project.
